CELEBRATING ST PATRICK’ S AT OUR SCHOOL

This year, the English department organized a fun and engaging activity to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, bringing a touch of Irish culture to our school community. Our fourth-year ESO students created posters filled with symbols and themes related to this day. These colourful displays were showcased on the wall of the ground floor, adding a festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the posters, two fourth-year students visited the first and second-year ESO classes to share an exciting activity centered around leprechauns, the mischievous little fairies of Irish folklore. The students were invited to write their names on a shamrock, which was provided to them beforehand. They then placed their shamrocks into a special box, hoping for a bit of luck! The twist? If their name was drawn from the box, they would have the chance to «steal» gold coins from the leprechaun—chocolate coins, of course! The celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day was a delightful success, filled with creativity, learning, and a sprinkle of luck. We look forward to more engaging activities that bring our students together and celebrate diverse cultures!

VIDEOLLAMADA II ESPAÑA – REPUBLICA CHECA Proyecto eTwinning

Celebrating Christmas with a healthy twist: The Xmaschef competition.

On December 17th , the English Department organised a delightful event to celebrate Christmas in a fun and educational way. We were excited to introduce the third Xmaschef edition competition, where our talented students showcased their culinary skills by creating healthy, festive recipes in English. After careful consideration, the judges selected the winners based on creativity, taste and presentation. The winning recipes were shared and enjoyed by all students during break , allowing everyone to experience the delicious results of our students’ hard work. This event not only encouraged our students to practise their English language skills but also promoted healthy eating habits during the holiday season. We are proud of all the participants and look forward to more exciting activities in the future.

Happy Holidays from the English department.

Giving thanks: How our school celebrated Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day

This Thanksgiving Day, our students participated in a heartwarming activity to express their gratitude. Each student took a moment to reflect on what they are thankful for and wrote messages of appreciation. These messages were then displayed on a beautiful mural located on the first floor of our school. The mural not only brightened up the hallway but also served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of gratitude in our lives.

Thanksgiving Day

Students and teachers alike enjoyed reading the thoughtful notes, which ranged from thanks for family and friends to appreciation for teachers and the opportunities they have. This activity encouraged everyone to share their positive thoughts during this special time of year.

Thanksgiving Day

We are proud of our students for their creativity and kindness, and we hope this tradition continues to grow in the years to come!

CARTAS DESDE GRECIA Proyecto eTwinning

Gracias Valle
